What's a girl have to do to get away from their former countries these days?

The power vacuum left in the wake of an action like that would be atrocious.

Unless I wanted to crown myself queen. But I'm a little short on resources for an operation of that size.

You'd make a lovely queen, but then you'd have to be in the public eye all the time. Better to install a puppet government and rule from the shadows.
